Betsy Novotny, CPNP
Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
Betsy Novotny has been a Pediatric nurse for over 20 years. Having graduated from University of Portland, Oregon with her Bachelor's of Nursing she entered the workforce as a nurse in the US Air Force. After 4 years she left the military and began her civilian career caring for babies and families in both the nursery and pediatric settings.
After many years of hospital Pediatric nursing Betsy received her Masters of Science in Nursing at the University of Alabama in Birmingham and since 2010 has been practicing as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner in primary care. She loves caring for children of all ages but especially kids ages 0-10. Working with kids and their families from a preventative perspective and a team approach she genuinely cares for your child's health and well-being. She is board certified in Pediatric care and a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Betsy has moved all over the United States and overseas and loves learning about different families, cultures, and beliefs. Living all over has given her a more worldly view of healthcare and she enjoys talking with families about their own health minded practices and beliefs and incorporating that safely into the health of the child.
When not seeing families or teaching the next generation of nurses Betsy enjoys reading and travelling. She is married and has 2 children and 2 "crazy" dogs.
