I am a Certified Nurse Midwife who has been practicing since 2020. I began my nursing career after earning my nursing degree from the University of Northern Colorado in 2013. Before pursuing nursing, I was a professional musician with a Master of Music in Performance, playing clarinet with orchestras from Virginia to Colorado.

After working as a labor and delivery nurse in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and Denver, Colorado, I completed my midwifery education at Frontier Nursing University in 2020. I went on to practice as a Certified Nurse Midwife at INOVA Loudoun Hospital and the INOVA Clinic for Women before joining INOVA FairOaks and Premier in 2026.

While obstetrics is my first love, I have also developed a passion for providing care during perimenopause and postmenopause. My philosophy of care centers on ensuring that every patient fully understands their medical care and feels empowered to make informed decisions. I believe my patients are the experts on their own bodies and experiences. My role is to listen, understand their goals, and work collaboratively with them to develop a personalized plan of care that best meets their needs.

When I’m not caring for patients, I enjoy exploring the DMV area with my husband and our two dogs.
